Present rim tape is fine & is showing no signs of any damage.Get some new rim tape then.
In that case I am none the wiser. Was trying to be light-hearted & frolicsome but it appears not to be working this evening.

I like the way the typesetters couldn't fit his name on the sleeve, so they angled it down the side like a kid in first year at primary school would do.......
