I got a new phone yesterday and ordered a cover for it off eBay as soon as I got in from work.My PayPal transaction shows it was completed at 1638 and when Mrs Cube got up this morning at 9.30 it was lying on the mat. First class post, London to Huddersfield in less than 17 hours.

I renewed my British passport when I lived in Stockholm. I took the form and pictures to the British embassy on Wednesday afternoon and received it in the morning post on Friday. The cost (in 2005) was £36.

I'm in the process of renewing my current passport and that'll take at least three weeks to issue. The cost now: £110.

We ordered dog knickers for my slightly leaky old terrier, on Thursday late afternoon and they arrived this morning. I thought that was impressive as the email said that they would be here between next wednesday and next friday.

They fit really well and old dog is happier with them than she was with her older, slightly smaller pair.

But, one better, litterly.. A site called ebuyer for technology and stuff... Last order time is 11pm for next day delivery! Lovely.

Yebbut you had to drive to the place of manufacture to collect thus incurring costs.

My delivery was free.
