Spotted at the end of a local road. No sign of any burning in situ, but not sure how or why anyone would dump it there

Chances are it'll be awaiting recovery by owner, police or local authority
Possibly having brought to an accessible location by another agency.
If it is a recent burn out recovery agencies usually want to wait 12 hours to ensure it is fully cooled.
The tape you can see is usually a way of letting people know the people who need to know know.
But if it isn't collected the local authority will deal with it as an abandoned vehicle. Though police may also deal as sus stolen (depending on back story) or dangerous condition. But if the owner or insurer is in touch and saying we will sort it asap it'll be left to them.

About 50 years ago, I was told a story of some locals, who used to work in a scrapyard. Cars would be stolen and torched and left in a country lane. The authorities would then commission the scrap yard to recover the burnt out shell and then they would get paid for the scrap metal as well and no need to strip the car of non metal items.
And it's parked in front of a No Parking sign, not very Smart parking.
