My favourite is when he takes so long to shout at pedestrians crossing as the light turns amber, he ends up running the red light

At least he is on a bike and not in a car.

This is what we mean when we say its not bad cyclist or bad motorist it's bad person whatever their mode of transport.

At the risk of blowin' my own horn (not an airzound thingymabob), I believe when presented with the idiocy of some drivers a hard stare and a sorry shake of the head is all that's required. This doesn't mean I always achieve this response but when I do I always feel calm and superior after. No need to get angry

He's just angry :cursing: . That's probably a compilation of my week's commute Dewsbury-Leeds-Dewsbury.

But why be so angry?

Does he actually drive in the car turning out of the road on purpose on the second video?

What i see mainly is hazards that are presented to both bike and car users. People pulling out at junctions, roadways being to narrow for bus and car lanes etc.

A lot of the drivers he shouted at were driving dangerously although he does absolutely nothing to help himself by way of defensive riding. We cyclists are harder to see than cars and it can be more difficult to guage our speed. I'm not trying to excuse bad driving because drivers should be aware of these factors and drive accordingly but the reality is that for the most part they don't. Defensive riding is the basic default setting for any cyclist who wants to avoid a lot of these situations. For example I always slow down approaching a junction until I am sure that the driver waiting to pull out has seen me. Perhaps one day all drivers who are waiting to pull out will check twice for bikes.

I strongly disagree with this. As cyclists don't obscure as much background as car it's easier to see them at distance & also judge speed. The problem is people are looking for the wrong things; people try to judge closing speed rather than vehicle speed & are looking for large blocks of non-movement in their vision rather than movement. This is lazy observation & leaves a lot of detail to be made up by your brain rather than images processed by your mind & means you easily miss critical information on what's about to happen even in large vehicles.

He actually gets knocked down a few times and you think that that's funny?
Not at all. I just think his view of hazard perception is poor. He is often too engrossed in shouting at people that he looses concentration on other things around him.
My opinion is that he isnt a very good cyclist, or hasnt been cycling for long.
