Not at all. I just think his view of hazard perception is poor. He is often too engrossed in shouting at people that he looses concentration on other things around him.
My opinion is that he isnt a very good cyclist, or hasnt been cycling for long.

From a commenter on his video

Please tone it down a bit. I really didn't like the abuse to the pedestrians, for example. Yes they were crossing against a red light (not illegal) and did not look properly (really stupid). By all means use bell, voice or horn to alert them, but please also slow down to ensure there's no collision and please don't shout abuse. They know they've been silly so there's no need to make them all defensive / indigant.
Just my opinion, hope you don't mind me sharing it

and he replies with

Cheers bruv, taken on board. It just surprised me that a few started walking and the light turning to red and how I couldn't stop in time and it all got blurted out. This is all 80% theatrics anyway. I'm super nice normally ;-)

I suspect he is not a driver. I may be wrong. He rides as if he is not a driver. Some helmetcammers do.

In my (limited) experience, cyclists who become aggressive, shouty and confrontational have done little driving in traffic other than on an X-Box.

I know (and know of) very few angry-shouty, antagonistic, car-chasing cyclists who drive. Those who do may have passed their test and driven three times since.

Cyclists who take a sanguine view of the occasional failings of drivers often do so because they have driven.

I'm not saying that a cyclist who drives is a better road user than a cyclist who doesn't.

But... I am saying that experience of other modes of transport in a particular set of road or traffic conditions makes us more aware as road users of how that mode (car, bicycle, artic, motorcycle) might respond to a situation and how we might best place ourselves to be safe and ensure the safety of others.

There will be exceptions (mostly self-appointed) but in my experience this is a general rule. I suspect that it applies to the drivers and riders of everything on the road, not just bicycles.

Actually I find the cyclists who take the dimmest views of bad driving are some of the best drivers around. That said, while they get very annoyed at the behaviour of other road users they are experienced & skilled enough to remain detached almost all the time or at least delay their reactions until the perpetrator is out of ear shot. Why? Because remonstrating with a driver only turns the heat up on the roads & thus causes more danger. It is in effect bad driving/cycling

Sir, how dare you show up my tired generalisations for what they are!

This in an outrage!

He is not a driver. He is the rule who proves the exception.

I am an elk.

Thank you.

I strongly disagree with this. As cyclists don't obscure as much background as car it's easier to see them at distance & also judge speed. The problem is people are looking for the wrong things; people try to judge closing speed rather than vehicle speed & are looking for large blocks of non-movement in their vision rather than movement. This is lazy observation & leaves a lot of detail to be made up by your brain rather than images processed by your mind & means you easily miss critical information on what's about to happen even in large vehicles.
I haven't heard it explained like that before but it does make sense. I certainly agree that people are very lazy with the attention they pay to their observations.
What a nobber, but he's a bit tragic as well, isn't he? He reminded me of a Spike Milligan character.
I speak to him now and again on twitter. He's sound, really. He even said on youtube that its mostly playing up for the camera (like the "are you going to run over the doggie?" comment - you can hear others laughing)
