The GLW came home yesterday with a broken pedal; the metal frame had snapped and was irrepairable. With the age of said pedals, we weren't unduly surprised though.
However - ! As the GLW needed that particular bike the next day and not having any spare pedals available, I took the MKS Tour pedals off my bike and put them on hers with which she is well pleased. So until a new pair arrive in a day or so, I'm bikeless - !

Ah, but I do have a pair of spanky MKS Sylvan Road Cage pedals, but as I'm currently wearing Vibram soled boots for commuting; long story, these don't afford enough grip, so I'm sticking with the MKS Sylvan Tour which grip said boots very well.

I gave up on the brownie points game when I realised it was like Snakes and Ladders on a board with 3 ladders and 30 snakes
