Title was a mistake.
New title: Should I report it?
Im two minds about it and want to read what a wider selection think.

I like to know peoples views on this and if it should be reported.
Im 100% sure this driver did it on purpose.
He tooted me at the roundabout and I think he thought I SMIDGAF or something but didn't and you can see from the footage. I look clearly and there is plenty of space. Maybe hes anti cyclist or something. I dont have a rear view camera but i wasn't under the impression he was tailgating although i never looked. I never got that sense of something being close to you.
I braked before the pinch point as i know it well and knew I would be the one worse off if anything was going to happen.
At 28mph matching the speed of the bus as I had got back up to speed after slowing for the other roundabout he tries to overtake and then just stays level and moves in. Whether this was him pushing me to the kerb as I was in a strong secondary bordering primary.
Big bitch slap to his van and he moved in on me so good thing I braked.

Yeah, that was on purpose, there was no reason for him to slow.

Report everything! Zero tolerance.

If drivers think that nothing will come of their dangerous actions they will carry on doing it.

Depends how sympathetic you think the police will be, where I live unless I lying in a pool of blood their not interested.

I'm two minds on this. Will have a think on it. I have no doubt it was in purpose and then for him to cut left which would have knocked me off if I didn't brake after the slap. I'll wait to see what others view in this is.

Roadsafe - yes. An in person report at police station I'd think twice about, mostly because of the extra time and effort required, and because they are quite likely to do nothing, not even speak to driver.

Hmm. Although the driver lacked anticipatory skills in trying to overtake at that point, the bus in front is braking and indicating left at the point when he the van slows, so it could just be that he was focussed ahead and forgot you were alongside.

How can you possibly know that it was done 'on purpose'? His driving wasn't great, but that's about it.

You didn't get knocked off or injured, move on.

I agree, it looked deliberate.

If you're still angry then report it. But personally when I have incidents like this (which thankfully I find to be rare), by the time I get home I usually find I'm not p*ssed off about it enough anymore to bother. But then again my attitude is usually "life's too short..." generally.

I doubt the police will be able to do much though, so it may be futile.

I don't think your videos are particularly comparable to be honest.

In yours, the driver was clearly antagonised by you waving your arm (which I think was fair to do), so of course his actions are deliberate.

In the original video, I'm not so sure.

I have to be honest there are quite a few videos posted on here where they have been reported and I thought it was harsh to report it. This wouldn't be one of them. It looked deliberate and he does need a word having with over his behaviour.
