I use H&L for some of my investments. Once the money is in the main Isa account it's very easy to shift between different bank isa accounts &/or into stocks & shares isas all within the same H&L account. If you're investing for 5 years or more stocks & shares/etfs will outperform savings isa by a good margin, even in these turbulent times.

I use Vanguard for my current S&S ISA (across 3 funds) but maybe I'll look at H&L for this year (any suggestions on the best options there?)

Artemis global income fund has done exceptionally well since I bought 6 months ago, if you like it a bit risky!
We also use Vanguard after seeing it discussed on this forum a few years ago. H&L's main advantage is the easy cash ISA options all under a single ISA ring fence.

Nah not really up for much risk!
Like Vickster perhaps, im inherently risk averse...and reading newts post above, it just confirms my thoughts, because I have NO idea what that actually means . Finances ( or big money as I call it)...confuddle me.
I (we, my late wife too) were both of the same mindset, risk averse and not very enlightened with such stuff.
But thanks for the input all....
