It's my buffdy tomorrow (the big 4-0) and I've been feeling quite depressed at the thought for a few weeks.

I break up today for the rest of the week - got stuff planned etc. Have come into work this morning and my office has been done up with balloons etc, had some lovely prezzies, flowers delivered, lovely cards and a camp medallion stating 'Behold the Ageless Wonder'. Plus the 100 odd cakies lying in wait in the fridge.

It really has cheered me up and made me think, 40 aint too bad, with friends around me like this.

I was 40 years young a few weeks ago, and no-one at work even noticed - the 'bog standard' birthday card arrived a few days late. Couldn't care less about work.

Had a nice meal with family and a little party at home - sorted, and got an Edge 705 !

Happy b-day.....have a good un. Don't eat too many cakes.

40 is a funny one. I looked forward to turning 30 but I wasn't so happy to turn 40, I'll be even less happy to see another decade on that, though I am determined to mark it somehow.

I was 40 in November as well - had five different nights out with family and various groups of friends - had a great time and got spoilt rotten, but I want to know where you work Snapper as your colleagues sound really generous ...
