I got a new computer chair from Viking today. Looks the business and adjusts in every direction, but oh that backrest! I tried it up, down, tilted forward, tilted back, but after a few minutes my back was killing me no matter how I adjusted it.

I complained to Mrs SJ that I was going to have to dis-assemble and send it back as I couldn't stand it. She took one look, lifted the backrest out and turned it the correct way round. What made it even worse was that she never said a word, just gave me "One of those looks" and left the room.

It really is a comfortable little chair (Now). I love it.

Saved you boxing it back up though.

I used to think this sort of thing must be SO much better for gay people - after all - 2 men etc

I mentioned it to a gay man I used to work with

apparently gay men are FAR worse

Of course - and I presume you realise this - it WILL come up in conversation at some point in the future

several times

for life

that is just how it is

It's not just me then! Memory like an elephant? Tsk! Elephants are such lightweights compared to a wife or partner.
