It stopped raining..........

so I got went out for a ride, the car is in the garage getting the timing belt replaced and a full service, it was a nice frosty morning, no rain so dusted the bike off got my winter gear on and out for a ride. Temperature outside 1.5C rode up to my mother in laws to see how she is doing (she's poorly) then up to my old mums to do any odd jobs she needs doing , got her some lunch out ready to pop in the oven then cycled across town to visit my niece before finally cycling back home. Only ten miles in total but by 'eck it was nice to get out on my bike!

There was "Salt Spreading" displayed on the matrix signs coming down the M6 earlier. First time I have seen that this winter.

rozen roads here in North Cumbria, several cars off the road and one in its roof off the A6 Theifside.

They started gritting about 8.30am ..........

Do you know,I actually went out for a ride this afternoon,in the dry,cold perhaps,and I hadn't time for a long ride,but I believe I enjoyed myself.Well it was either that or I fell asleep and the whole episode was a dream-don't think so though!
