"He's a boy" would be tautologous (if talking about an infant).
Actually....

Those of us who fought the cause of inclusive language back when it was a niche interest were constantly being told with considerable vehemence that masculine nouns and pronouns should not be interpreted as masculine but as generic. So "he's a boy" would be seen by the "it's all PC gone mad" as perfectly valid. Along with, a favourite of mine, "the average man gets up at 7am, washes, and puts on his pantyhose" (a real example quoted to me in1980-something).

OK, it's a fair cop.

I'll settle for "He or she's a boy".

I see they have just announced the name. We had a sweepstake fun bet in the office here what it would be. Unfortunately, my choice of 'Thargon destroyer of worlds' was a bit of a long shot:blush:.

1) I wish they'd called the baby Trevor.

2) I used to live literally round the corner from the Lindo Wing ... saw all the shenanigans there when Di gave forth her first sprog ... it was madness then, must be even worse now.

Seems like a lot of envy going on here. I certainly would not want to be born into that life.
In fact there are widely different opinions about this, with some studies saying they amount to a pretty big net loss, and others saying they draw money into the country. First, catch your economist...
That is easy, just pick the one who tells you what you want to hear.

You were close. "Louis sponger off the state" isn't far off.
Well, this country has to keep the prince & princesses fantasy going to placate the flag waving masses, distracting them from the fact they're being lied to, ripped off & shafted by a bunch of Tory c****.

It's unlikely to ever matter but it seems like he's got none of the usual King-ready names. Any of Louis, Charles and Arthur would be controversial, being already French, Catholic and mythical kings.
