The safe arrival of a baby into a family where they are wanted and will be loved is pretty much always a good thing and to be celebrated, I think.

I'm not a massive monarchist, overall.

Two thoughts, simultaneously. Whodathunkit.
Exactly my take on it, it's the blanket coverage that annoys me. But then the same will be true when the World Cup kicks off and those who don't like football are subjected to a month of it.

I disagree

I'm very happy that a healthy baby has entered the world into a family that seems very pleased

I don't mind the blanket coverage. What I do mind a lot, is the deferential nature of the coverage. I'd hoped we'd progressed beyond the forelock tugging of the Nicholas Witchells of this world. Fair makes me want to puke

Even Prince Charles can't stand Nicholas Witchell. You know life's dealt you a bad hand if Chuck doesn't love you.

It's a bit more complicated than that...
Wonderful news :bravo:

Lots of zealots on here pumping the same old boring drivel xx(....
Never mind. When the little brat goes home tomorrow we'll be shot of news of him at least until he starts school.
