Just wondering about the setup though ... If that is the final saddle height, do you have relatively short legs and a lengthy torso? It looks quite long relative to the height of the saddle.

In short yes.......short thighs along with snapped and re-tied hamstrings

I descend pretty quickly, so no requirement for big chainrings
