Greetings from the Land of Crows! Don't expect lot's of posts about hugely long rides I've been on, there ain't gonna be any! I use my bike for commuting and the odd ride out with the family. Been on a bike since I was small, am now using it (a) because I like it and (B) because if I don't I'll end up an unfit lardy bugger  I would love to have time to indulge in longer rides but I spend enough time being crap at sculling  Living on the South Lincs/North Cambs border I don't get to do many hillclimbs, though we do get 340 degree headwinds, so they sort of simulate hillclimbs a bit ;)

I've heard of hills and even glimpsed one or two in the distance -welcome aboard.

. Stone the Crows. Are you from..... Crowland?

Aye I know that 360 degs wind well. Some of the best cycle climbers have hailed from the flat lands of Belgium .

Browser, I'm based in South Lincs and commute into Peterborough on a daily basis. I know what you mean about the winds, only place on earth where you get headwinds in both directions.
Welcome to the forum.

Someone's got to be .
In my defence, I was born in the North-East, grew up in Market Deeping (8 miles NW of Crowland) and only moved here 8 years ago.
I am kidding, it's a nice place and within easy cycling distance of Peterborough, so makes commuting more than practical. When they get the new road from Peterborough to Spalding open I'll be able to use the existing one, which will shorten my ride even further .
