It's my wedding anniversary today and........

During the handing out of Christmas cards last year, when we were all at Arch's Mum's house, Arch suddenly realised that she forgot to do a card for me. A hasty gathering of craft stuff produced a lovely card that is now framed and in my office.

I got my OH a spork for his birthday a few years ago and I've never heard the last of it. I would be delighted if someone bought me a spork!

I've given one of those printed off Tesco Value cards before now .... I know he would rather something like that which made him laugh and didn't cost a penny, than me spending lots of money on a card. Normally I make them - makes it more personal, so I might find a modified Christmas card quite funny!

I don't do cards for any occasion. A bunch of flowers and chocies/something she likes will go down a lot better. Plus maybe a meal out at her favourite resturant?

Anyway, I'm lousy at remembering dates like that, so it's much more likely to be the other way around. And as he's already said, it's the care and thought that count.

Unfortunately I think your right.

Although my good lady made it clear that the card wasn't acceptable there as not been any repercussions or even bad words as yet.

This can only mean she is concocting a plan to teach me a lesson.

I am now scared, very very scared.
