I used to work in a women's clothes shop, where we targeted older women (65+). Some people would come in on those scooters and they were a liability. They didn't pay any attention, would reverse without looking behind them/checking if it was okay...they could barely manoeuvre them (10,000 points turns)....

Then in town, some people on them seem to have them super charged as they shoot around.

Some are pretty nippy..... my son's had a few spins on his gran's mobility scooter - dial it up to max and watch them go............................

Typical lazy modern parents, don't look after the children and whine when things go wrong...

I've seen someone on one of those scooters run the wrong way on a one way system, take on a bus and win.

I'm not making a judgment by saying this, but it was pretty awesome to watch.

Sadly, tthere have been a few who have taken buses, jugganauts, bin lorries, etc and lose, fatally.
