It's official! Lancashire is better than Yorkshire.

If Lancashire's so fantastic, how come the good people of Saddleworth - now in Lancs having been stolen from Yorkshire in 1974 - keep replacing the white rose sticker they added to their town sign every time Oldham Council remove it?

(I'm right Yorkshire, exiled in That London as an economic migrant)

It's a sticker, about 5 inches in diameter. My mate's married to a Saddleworth lass - at their wedding her family hardly shut up about it. Her dad was almost in tears at one point (but that might have been the JW Lees "beer").
