My bedroom window is open all year round. Currently not wearing shorts, but I will be tomorrow when I muck out the garden.
MrsPete, however, would live cuddled up to a hot water bottle for 10 months of the year if I'd allow it!
Sort of turned the heating on... Ours is controlled by thermostat which seems to be playing up.... It needs new batteries! And we've got a fire on for the second time this Autumn! We've turned the heating off but we do need to get the batteries sorted!
Central heating only works from Mid November to the end of March. That's what our Dad told us. Outside those times, stick a jumper on I am way to mean to be paying for heating when it's not properly necessary (maybe not mean but, as a carer, I'm on a tight budget)
Ours is on, comes alive when the temp falls below a certain level.
Been very mild for weeks but there's a wee chill in the air first thing in the morning.
Bedroom window is always open, and we only use a thin summer quilt.
