Yeah right and this afternoon your going to build a twin eiffel tower in the middle of Accrington Stanley's football pitch!!!
I find cycle in the rain no problem at all, special in warm summer rain. As the Norwegian say "it is never to cold outside, your just not wearing the appropriate clothes"!!
Mind I haven't been out all week so I've got no room to talk.

Not raining here, still warm but the sun has gone in. Nice enough to be sitting in the garden with a glass of wine watching the swallows build a nest in my roof.

Vacuumed right through, scrubbed hob, extractor hood, worktops, sink and microwave, pinned toddler down long enough to get clothes on him and went to the garden centre for lawn seed and top soil. Might as well patch the lawn and make the drizzle work for me. This afternoon is attend to the lawn then bake a chocolate cake to celebrate the end of oldest child's year 8 exams and, if it ever stops raining, scout out a way to get the bike and trailer to the shops and back without getting wedged in a set of barriers or brown-trousered on the A405.

Meanwhile, Mr J watched Madagascar with said toddler and taught him to sing and dance, "I like to move it move it." However, I will concede that he also made him lunch.

It managed to rain for all of about 4 minutes here on the Kent coast, enough to splash the patio. Don't think the plants managed to get much so the hosepipe will be out later.
