    It won't snow down south. It never does. The last time it did proper, I was
    17. And that was a loooooong time ago.

    Its been sleeting here. I was on my bike and i felt some hail stones hit me(i had to think why the rain was so hard) then it started to sleeting.
    You can have the snow and the heavy winds from here.

    We had hailstones then snow but it's all gone now I'm warm in my house :biggrin:
  9. Plenty of snow fell here today but it was too wet and it wasn't steady enough to lie.

    I think we're in the eye. It stopped blowing construction workers from the nearby site past the house about an hour ago.

    I await the next installment.

    Was pissing down on the way home. Windy too.
  12. It's going to be a mountain biking weekend this weekend. I'm not going out on the road in the winds they forecast - 17mph westerlies on Saturday 23mph southerlies on Sunday with a wind chill to -5 on both days. Sod that!!

    That's soft southern weather that is! :tongue:;)

    I am rather scared of the 90mph gusts and the wind chill of -15. I may even have to wear a jacket. :biggrin:

    The wind blew as 'twad blawn its last;
    The rattlin' showers rose on the blast;
    The speedy gleams the darkness swallow'd;
    Loud, deep, and lang, the thunder bellow'd:
    That night a child might understand,
    The De'il had business on his hand.
