Guaranteed to keep their needles until at least December...?

As it's pot grown, perhaps you could just move it to a larger pot, then plant it in the yard after the Holidays. They appear to have intact root balls, AICBM.
They tend to die, or at least the one I had did. They buried the pots, which are smaller than the root ball would be and then dig them up and cut off the roots. Mine lasted long enough to miss the January tree collections, but not much longer, so it sat dead in my garden for 10 months.

I then purchased a proper small fir in a pot out of season, and it's growing nicely, thankyou.

We put out our old trees on the ice on the lakes.
When the ice melts, the trees sink, making fish habitat.
At least I would if we had a tree. We have artificial trees.
Way too early for this.
We haven't even had Thanksgiving yet.

I visited B&Q on Christmas Eve a few years ago. They were selling off every tree for 1p. They were selling £50 trees for 1p. the manager just wanted them off his forecourt.
I bought a £20 small potted tree for the garden, it is still going strong, but been repotted a few times. Next repotting will be into the ground.
