I have been painting too. 3 days in, just the glossing to do now. It took 4 coats to cover the dark pink my daughter picked 9 years ago.

I'm useless when it comes to painting landscapes... That's way better than any of my attempts.

Sometimes though, it's just about picking up some brushes and just losing yourself in the process of painting. I love to paint or sketch to help me unwind of an evening - and sometimes to help me sort my head out.

No, watercolour.
The last and only time I used oil I was about 12.

Maybe revisit it one day....

I used to use oils a lot, but oil paint and cats do not mix - the green paw prints took ages to buff out of the floorboards...

Now, I work in acrylics, watercolour or coloured pencil.

Not bad at all. I'd like to be able to paint but just mess about with pencils and charcoal mostly.
