Allegedly, a moderator didn't like it going round in circles - just like the 'tea' and 'tell a lie' threads yet they remain open.

First display of poor judgement IMHO.

The last post before it was locked referred to someone "google earth-ing" Flippo's pad. I guessed it was that which had caused the problem, but that wasnt mentioned as a reason for locking. I found the thread to be in good humour, and certainly not the divisive partisan trolling found elsewhere on the site.
