Well here in good old Sweden you can keep your old brakes no need to have it on all wheels. Only thing needed is that there got to be a parking brake of some sort, the nasty old welcros on the handlebars is legal. I happen to have brakes on all three as I got fed up with those nasty Welcros and bought ICEs parking brake which goes on the previously unbraked rear wheel.

Numbnuts: Yes I have also gone through that process of wiring and I had to modify the "rolling detector" as it was done for a much smaller BB then mine. I got a new wheel with the motor but I actually hammered the hub in place the first time, a bit harder with Trice Qs stiff rear fork. But when I was about to install the parking brake I fitted the anglegrinder disc to my Dremel and "grinded" one of the shims away, they where kind of locked by the gigantic contact. So now the hub glides in place without too much persuasion.
