Picked up an Ebay purchase yesterday. With one bike already stored in the flat, it might have been a bit of a squeeze, but luckily, the new one is quite compact.

In fact, it's a touch small for me. Here it is, listening intently to words of roadcraft wisdom from my trusty winter hack.

May I introduce, Little 'Un. He;s not staying too long - just as soon as I can spare and arrange the time to take him to Winchester, probably in a couple of months time, he'll be moving on, and hopefully making a small boy very happy. Assuming the small boy can be torn away from his train set which is the current obsession.

The only trouble is, it's so sweet, I'm getting quite attached to it. It's going to be a wrench to pass it on! And it's having an alarming tendency to bring on broodiness....

That is soooo cute - you could put a safety pin on it and wear it as a brooch!

Get ready for a load of comments about getting that dresser tidy though!!!

Yeah, I know, it's the repository for all the stuff I can't think where else to put. It. <warning, grammar malfunction>

I tried to find a better background, but the flat is so crowded, there isn't a bit of blank wall...

It (the bike) is very, very cute. It sat at my feet on the train on the way back, and it was all I could do not to talk to it and point at things out of the window, like I would with my nephew.

I'm trying very hard not to equip it with a bell, lights etc...

Nice bike - have you tried riding it? I've got an appointment/booking to visit Islabikes in a couple of weeks time to go and look at their bikes...

What dresser I did not see a dresser

It's behind the bikes, under all the junk....

Summerdays - no I haven't, for two reasons. One, I fear it might not be rated for 11 stone. Two, I think if I got down that far, I might never get up again! Enjoy your visit to them - are you looking at a Rothan, or something bigger? If Oli takes to this, of course, I'll be looking for a Cnoc in a year or so....

Expensive business, this auntying. Still, I do adore him.... If he doesn't get a sibling (it's vaguely planned), he's going to end up seriously spoilt by Aunty Sue and both grannies.
