I went for my hearing test there, but because I had just thought about it and walked in, they found that I have not cleared my ears sufficiently.

Fairynuff, so I have a thing to hand into my G.P. regarding getting my ears syringed now.

I've only had mine for four days, but I've already lost the left side one! I've lost it in my flat, as I had 40 winks in my chair then later found it wasn't in my ear. It was there before my doze, so it has to be close by, thankfully not outside my flat which would make finding it almost impossible. I'll have a root around tomorrow to try and find it as it's too dark now, even with my lights on to find it. This tells me that no way should I buy expensive private ones, as like I predicted, I'd easily lose them! 🙄

I lost one of mine a few weeks back, in the house. Search, search, search. Nothing. Hang on a minute, what about using the tablet pc with the software on for the aids. So fired it up and and went into each room until it paired with said aids. Simples !

So in other words, with it playing music, they can now make you even deafer than you were before? That seems a bit... Ummm... 😆

You are right. When playing around with mine and blue tooth they got paired to the tv and also the pc. On both occasions I wished they had`nt, as it was so loud. The problem I have too is the tinnitus that goes with loud noises. I don`t think the people I have dealt with at Spec.........s realise the impact the tinnitus causes. Hey ho, as long as I can hear the wife.

I avoid hearing aids with any kind of wireless pairing, and just get ones which help my hearing. If I'm watching DVDs (I never watch TV channels, I gave that up over 2 decades ago), I'll plug headphones into the TV, and if I'm using my PC I'm right in front of it so its speakers don't have to be turned up that much.
