I think the weight only refers to the module for eating sleeping. It's not exactly clear, but then again it is just a concept.

For a bike with inbuilt table/chair/cot it still has a lot of baggage and the front load is quite high. Perhaps the steering system can cope better with that.

As for the steering cables no different perhaps to brake cables?

The biggest drawback is a lack of a proper roof and net to keep bugs away. Still, though, it's great to see a fresh approach. Interestingly, too, it's very much focused on the solo traveller.

It is ridiculous as bikes with tiny caravans behind. I travel all over with a bivvy bag, sleeping mat and sleepng bag at just over 3kg.
A bivvy bag and a mat and a sleeping bag??? Ya big softy! ^_^
I carry around a bag of sharp stones just so I can lie down on them! ^_^

Have you not seen the boat?? ^_^
Totally ridiculous, incredibly impractical (how does it get charged up?) but what a toy! ^_^ I sooooo want to try one!

I used to use the sharp stones but then realised any fool can rough it. I learnt how to live in comfort. 😁
