I also live close to both Rotherham and Sheffield shops and have used them both for over 20 years but I stopped using their Workshops 10+ years ago.
As a retailer they're as good as anyone(I've bought about 7 or 8 bikes from them) but I never found their workshops to be anything other than OK at best but I only ever used them on Warranty stuff.They might be better now but I do everything myself so have no reason to try them out.

Yes I have done a search.

Pondering buying something from them for a build but have it in the back of my head that they may be a bit, er, "problematical" to deal with.

Any views/experiences?

I think foxyrider works for them. Might be worth having a chat with him?
