As shown in the "what have you fettled thread" my hand is healing. No cycling for a while though as I doubt I can pull the brakes sufficiently for an emergency stop.
So what happened?
Events leading to the ruccus were a little hazy to be honest. I had difficulty breathing afterwards and a full on hypo had me floored but my eldest cleared things up.
According to her, as I was messing about with Tara, winding her up etc as one does, Molly started barking at me. I barked back at Molly, as one does
and Molly got very aggressive. Not seeing this, I carried on barking at her like an eejit and she eventually lost her rag and lunged for me. Tara immediately sprung to action and defended me.
Like an eejit, I dove in and tried to break them up. Eventually we succeeded by Pam dragging Molly off Tara while I punched her (Molly) in the head in an effort to claim my hand back from her gob.
Nothing like this has ever happened in the 4 years we've had the dogs apart from minor scuffles. Tara's just a grumpy bugger at times while Molly is hyperactive.
It's given me a new look on things. Cute and fluffy they may be, but if they turn, dogs are bloody strong. Stronger than you'd think.
Tease with caution!

We have an appointment with a friend of Pams who used to train dogs for the police. Hopefully some good will come of it.
