sad news, died of cancer aged 56. you may not agree with his politics but he seemed like a nice guy with his heart in the right place.

The news quiz pod cast will never be the same again.

And he was a friend of Linda Smith who also died far too young.

Horrible. I too wondered why he hasn't been on the News Quiz. The cluster**** that's happening now would be squarely in his sights.

I'd no idea he was ill, so was shocked to read this on the news a few minutes ago.
He was a very funny guy and I saw him on ISIHAC at the King's Theatre in Glasgow a couple of years ago. A talented and naturally funny man.

Shame, no age at all, and a very talented man. I saw him at the Watford Colosseum for a recording of ISIHAC a couple of years back. He did the warm up before the recording started as well as appear on the panel.
