Find a job you absolutely love and you'll never have to work a day in your life

I'm still looking

I have got mine and I work for myself, I do however have to change things every so often as I can get bored and of course the trade changes.

Not peoples stuff, just the company's stuff. In lieu of redundancy. Not like a real crime.
Hence why i said "my"
Although i dont think the owner of any company would agree with your viewpoint when they have to pay to replace it or cant do a job properly because someone walked off with something .

I was only joking. You don't really think I'd advocate stealing the receptionist? Unless of course you really needed one and the company were throwing one out or something.

Work is the curse of the drinking classes!

Seriously, you need to look at this as an opportunity. I had a breakdown and had to change my career in 1996, while at the time I went through hell, I look back and see the way things turned out. I spent 10 years in jobs I loved and retired early to enjoy a hopefully long time of cycling fun, games and enjoying family. If I had my time again from '96 I wouldn't change a thing.

That's a bummer Charlotte.
About 4 years ago I got shafted by an employer. The job had been great, but my employers turned into complete pricks.
I felt awful for a good year afterwards.
Keep thinking positive, it'll all work out. Don't let them grind you down.

Good luck with finding something you'll enjoy and hopefully get paid heaps for. I was out of work for over a year before landing a contract last December.

Has to be said I'm hating it big time but it's paying the bills and filling in some major gaps in my skillset. If I can stick this until the end of the year I should be able to find a job where I'm not a team of one and can actually take a day off every now and them. The only day off I've got booked for this year is the day Le Tour comes to London ^_^
