Mrs OFT has bought me an action camera, so if someone clears me up she will be able to identify the person she needs to thank and split the insurance money with.
It's a Silver Label Focus, bought from the LBS on their recommendation.

I've done a couple of rides with it fitted, transferred the files to the laptop.
For a ride of just over an hour I have 25 x MP4 files of up to 330Mb each.

I'd like to stitch these together so I have 1 file to cover my ride, so I'm asking if anyone could recommend suitable software for the task. Freeware, shareware, whatever.

One issue I need to overcome:
On both rides I've found that the inside of the hemispherical lens part of the waterproof case is getting partially obscured with condensation, which makes the images increasingly fuzzy as the ride progresses. Anyone else had this problem?

Microsoft movie maker will do this for free.

Your first sentence made me laugh, it's just why I got a camera too.

I leave the waterproof case on a sunny windowsill after drying it with a paper hand towel if it gets wet inside.

Condensation can happen in a watertight enclosure. Air is naturally "warm" and humid. Condensation forms on surfaces colder than the air .

A small silica gel sachet in the housing works well .

It's what I use with the go pro underwater and in the proper underwater camera .
