i was in tk maxx tdy and there was a really nice good quality high vis cycling jacket,breathable technical fabric and all looked well) ,,good price(rrp 95 ,,going for 24.99!!) ,,had a quick look at it and tried it on ,,was a good fit and i walked to the cash desk with it ,it was then i noticed the logo "IRONMAN",imagine me with that on ,any other cyclist would see it as a challenge ,and im rubbish,never bought it!!

i am always very wary of RRP , as some suppliers put it on just to make it look a real bargain, bought some muddy fox cycling shoes RRP of £69 in the sale (12month sale i think) for £23 , should have tried them on in the shop as they were awful and were actually not worth a £10, the strap was made from old thrown out knicker elastic and the plate to house the cleat screws was made of my daughters Plasticine.

I have a very nice orange hiviz jacket that I was given after doing some work for Freightliner a few years back but, as you might expect, it has "Freightliner" in biggish letters on the back. I bought some of that T shirt inkjet printable transfer paper that's designed for dark T shirts and printed my business name and logo on it. I then ironed it onto the old logo and it hides it completely. You need to use the opaque white transfer paper, the actual transfer is a plastic film that fuses to the fabric it's ironed onto. I've also used this to patch small holes in some bib shorts by printing out additional manufacturers logos and ironing them over the holes.

and just cutting it into strips and removing the existing logo(well the man part anyway )and piecing in the bru part ,,whats this transfer paper u speak of ,,any links ,sounds a good solution

Just make sure when you're ironing it on that the iron doesn't come into contact with any screen printed graphics on the coat as it will melt them.
