Nice to know you're still with us!

Sorry to hear about this - hope you are OK or get OK and it does not sour your cycling. It is really frustrating when in the moment you don't get a number and no bugger backs you up.
It is bad enough when cars take you out from stupidity but a whole lot worse if it is deliberate. Only hope it has done some damage to his car.

Oh no!! How awful....I hope you're okay.

I had a close pass today and I watched the driver, as he appeared to be driving deliberately close.
My son was about 250 yards in front of me and I watched in disbelief as the driver more or less aimed at him, then swerved round him at the last moment, passing pretty close. If my lad had wobbled or fallen off, he would have been hit.
It's absolutely awful what these drivers get away with.
Zero tolerance. End of.

I should add that I am ok..no broken bones just a few grazes.....just angry that I had left my helmet camera at home because I was cycling to the beach for a swim....silly sod i am.
You're not silly pal. Just enjoying the sun. You shouldn't have to be expecting this kind of thing.
Glad you're OK. Total sympathy.
Take care.

Not liking what the driver did to your son  aiming at anyone, let alone a kid, is shocking. Liking that we should have zero tolerance.

Really sorry to hear this BOAB. I'm glad you haven't broken anything. Hope the bike is the same.

Ah no good! Dreading the day something like this happens to me out of fear for what I would do if I got hold of the driver.

What sort of cameras are you all using?

Glad you seem ok. Watch out for symptoms though, in the next few days.
I had a driver, about a month ago, drive past me at a pinch point/island and brush my arm.
I caught him at the lights and told him what he had done, and he just said "so what?"
The point is, it is seemingly becoming a real problem and especially with that attitude. It's like he knew that nothing will happen.
I'd have thumped him at that point, my blood would have been boiling and that would have tipped me over the edge.

These things happen...this type of driver wouldn't Care even if he did get a visit from plod. What is peeing me orf right now is that's its shaken me ....shaken but not stirred moneypenny ....and that I was silly enough to leave the camera for fear of getting it nicked while I went swimming in the sea ...without risking yet another helmet camera debate I am pleased I have one and will always take it from.now on.

....right then....that's my near death experience over and done with lol!
I know that feeling. I didn't have my camera when I had my hit and run as I hadn't bothered to swop the mount from my usual bike to the Brompton I was using that day. Certainly regretting it now.
Needless to say, I will not be riding again without front and rear cameras. Neither will my OH.

I have done that in the past. But it just hit home to to me the awful attitude some drivers have towards bike riders.
It was like that's normal brushing past a cyclist, he really, honestly didn't see what he had done wrong. And I'm not prepared anymore to get in trouble when all they will get is a slap on the wrist....at best!

@BigonaBianchi - sorry to hear the news but glad that you're relatively OK. It seems to me that there is a very nasty streak getting into a lot of drivers in the UK and the frustrating thing is that there is not anything sensible, that I know of, to combat the situation !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
