Used to be able to fit a whole LP on one side of a C90 cassette too.

I had small tape (a C4???) that came with the cassette deck I bought (with my own hard earned paper round money). I recorded a favourite song (which shall, for fear of embarrassment, remain secret) on it, half on one side and the rest on the other. To this day whenever I hear that song, I recall exactly where the tape clicked off and I had to flip the tape to hear the rest!

Where did the rest of it go. They're bloomin' tiny. Total rip off. Half the fun of a Mars bar is that, or was that it was a bit of a challenge. Not now. Might as well have had a bloody Milky Way.
This country, honestly.
Just had a bite out of this one, sorry.

Mars Bars and other bars go up and down in size every few years.
It seems the current standard Mars Bar is only 51g which seems pretty small, the largest I remember them being is 68g

The biggest picture ever (4 bloody Megapixels!) of the smallest Mars Bar ever?

Said the man with slow internet connection.

Nice to know I'm not alone - the stupid pic coughed and spluttered a bit before it loaded.

From Wikepedia:
In the second half of 2008, Mars UK reduced the size of regular bars from 62.5 g to the current 58 g. Although the reduction in size was not publicised at the time, Mars claimed the change was designed to help tackle the obesity crisis in the UK. The company later confirmed that the real reason for the change was triggered by rising costs.[5][6] In the UK, most Mars bars are still made at the Slough Trading Estate.

Nah, more like the size of a football.

Is this not a perception thing, white dog sh#t excluded (which is, incidentally, down to their diet)?
Nay, they'd introduced metric only rulers(15cm) at school at the time. Also had family working in the factory that made them. So got them cheap.
