A mate had just bought a 16 model and I looked around for one but ended up having to get the 17 model as the smallest they made last years was 53cm....

It's a cyclocross bike. If you used mudguards in a CX race, you'd have to stop every few minutes to unjam the wheels.

I'll not be racing it, I got it to get off the roads round here as the traffic is really bad lately and going to be for a while as they have decided to do major road works totally surrounding where I live and to make use of the extensive network of cycle tracks round here due to all the old collieries. Also to keep up with my mates as they have hybrids and 29er MTB's which I have a bit of a problem keeping up with on my old 26 Mtb....
Also to answer Cycleops, the welds are dressed but not flush with the tubing.
I'm happy with the spec compared to others in the same price range, full 105 with hydraulic brakes and through axle fulcrums and of course the folding rocket rons.. and I also maneged to get 10% of at a local dealer....

Looks nice, I know what you mean about trying to get away from the traffic. I considered the same solution myself, but unfortunately there aren't enough trails between here and work to make it work. Enjoy your new bike.

i hope Rocket Ron cx tyres are better than 2.25 mtb version or you will be on your arse a lot..go easy on anyting remotely wet or slipery
