If I'm honest, the heated grips were a bit of an impulse buy.

Something to warm the nads up on though when you have a stop on a long winter ride.

Didn't you know that the more faded/battered a Carradice looks the cooler it is, they also benefit from getting rained on regularly a bit like Tents.

Incidentally my mate John at OTT festival has the coolest tent, a 30+ year old Vango 'Force Ten' that's nearly white with just a vague hint of its original orange

And to be fair,when i say it affected my balance it was loaded up/down with about 12 bottles of beer at the time.

In reflection, the RATO pack was a bit of a luxury buy.

Not very expensive but an extravagance nonetheless.
