thats priceless...... I must admit I have almost given up using cycle paths/lanes as there seem to be a lot of this sort of thing around, and if its not that its people letting their dogs run riot on the old railway cycle paths or aimlessly wandering down the middle of them with mp3 players on full blast so they have no idea you are there.

I used the Harland Way bike path from Spofforth to Wetherby on saturday when I came across a guy walking his dog, the dog had a tree branch in its mouth, the branch was the full width of the path and was a few yards ahead of the owner he saw me coming and did nothing at all so I had to wait for the dog to turn its head so I could scoot past I will just use the road next time.

I've been down that road & I can't remember any cycle lanes on it.

It's definately not on Google Street View.

I'd say that it's just a bit of Warringtonian lashing out at the Scousers who live in a "proper" city !
