I'm kicking myself. It's dark, -2 and I was going too fast.

There's an opportunity to make quite a tight turn into the road that the Honda is parked on

I seized that opportunity only to find that the road is blanketed with black ice, felt the wheels slipping and there was nothing I could do - next thing is I'm lying on the ground with surprising no pain as a woman rushes to help me.

No damage to me or the bike apart from a wonky shifter which just needs adjusted. I'll know to take it slower from now on!

No damage, the shifter has been bent inwards but I just need to loosen off the screw and pop it back into place.

When I was knocked off by a cop van I was wearing a NIghtvision Eco jacket.
Also had road rash on my elbow/arm but no damage to the jacket.

Glad you are OK and more importantly the bike wasnt badly dama ged

I have had some serious road rash on my knee which didnt hole the lycra cycling longs I was wearing. Strange how that happens.
