OK, the surreal seems to have arrived.........

I fitted the crud mud guards and it was pretty easy to do. Took about 15 mins, that was taking my time and struggling with a cable tie that wouldn't "release". Typcially after i cut it off it released perfectly. Oh well. Plus fiddling with the front one so that it sat above the tyre rather than to the side (messed with cable tie to fix that).

They look good. To be honest, I think my Airlite 300 probably has too much clearance - they look better where there is less clearance.

When fitted, they did rub a little when you spin the wheel (you can hear the brushes I think). But I have read that you can't notice it at all once you are on the road. As soon as I can get chance for a ride in day light, i'll know for sure myself.....

But look good so far. Especially for £21 delivered.

Keep seeing prices of £20 and £21... where did you get these from at that price? (or are they special price when you spend £X?).

Looking at getting some for my Allez Elite.

Well I had spent over £120 so had managed to get a deal in Cycleworld. Thats why mine were so cheap.

...tried them out today. No rain (thats apparently forecast for tomorrow) but they sat ok. I got into work and had to adjust them slightly, and tighten up a finger-nut. Then the same after I'd rode home.

Does anyone know if you can use superglue on the tails? Havent tried it yet myself but have heard a few peeps have glued theirs on (think I said this before )

I have had my guards on for about a month. I really hate mudguards. The only positive aspect is that the bike is a bit cleaner. I am so looking forward to Mar and I can take the infernal things off the bike. I might try Crud catchers.
