Did think about that but it won't be going out when it's wet because it will fall apart being carbon.

While it is tempting to write off that brake position as a marketing gimmick, it is actually a performance enhancing design feature.

The extra crud the calliper picks up will keep the pads nicely abraded, thereby improving the braking.

Very nearly bought a Rose myself, before I found a different deal. Great looking bikes and spec is amazing for the money. Make sure you give us plenty of info once you get your first ride in.

Nice, I got my rose in October (team Xeon cgf di2) and very pleased with it.

Mine doesn't mind the wet, though SKS clip on raceblade xls are OK, but the front is a bit tricky to get mounted right.

Rear needs mud guard removable to take wheel off. Wheel comes off backwards not down, so watch that di cable when putting the wheel on!

Good service so far from rose, I've changed stem and seat on mine with no major issues but you do need to pay to get the replacements, then refund on returned parts. That's the idea, I've just returned the original seat and stem so will see how well that works.

View attachment 62642 Treated myself, delivery beginning of January. 11speed di2. Choice of four colours, probably too much black for Vickster but what do the rest of you sane people think about the bike and most importantly the colour?

i think it looks awkward and gangly, like anne hathaway did in The Princess Diaries 1.

i dont like the doglegged seatstays and from the angle of the photo it looks like the crossbar is bowed. i also think the join of the stays and the crossbar is ugly. and the handlebars look unnaturally shallow.

Here for rides.
Any comparison in appearance which involves Anne Hathaway the actor should be taken as a major compliment.

I think that both Rose & Canyon are roughly speaking very similar in quality & ethos, so should be a great bike.

For me at least, I find both brands colour schemes a little bland, not ugly, just don't excite me.

Nice looking frame & most importantly lots of very, very happy owners.

Rear brake might (or not) be a nightmare.

Most highly anticipated bike for me is FF's Rourke.
