The older I get, the faster I used to be ...
I'm a bit concerned that Rose bikes are becoming too colourful - they've even got a red, white and blue one in the 2015 listings  . My Xeon CRS 3000 is unvarnished matt carbon and dark grey - perfect .
Great bikes, and amazing value - you won't be disappointed:smile:!

great colour I like it!

55cm, I did all the measurements as per the Rose instructions and rang them on their Freephone number and chatted it through. I did a bike fit at the LBS and the only things I've changed are a slightly wider seat (145mm) and a more elevated stem (25 degrees).

Bike fit was certainly worth it as I have no where near the mobility I used to have 20 years ago when I last rode a bike like this!

View attachment 62642 Treated myself, delivery beginning of January. 11speed di2. Choice of four colours, probably too much black for Vickster but what do the rest of you sane people think about the bike and most importantly the colour?
Very nice ! They seem to have made a better job of the seat post clamp the some other brands that just seemed to have whacked a bit of plastic in the hole and them thrown a seat post at it
I have the same reservations about the rear brake but also find it odd that if they are going aero with the brakes why have they not tucked the front calliper behind the forks .
The little bit of white showing on the bars suggests they might be Zipp Vuka sprint bars ?

I have a Rose, been very happy with it, then again all bikes are the same really aren't they? A carbon mold in some far eastern country, a selection of components sprinkled on, the same components that all other manufacturers can use.

I dunno, bikes don't excite me anymore, they're just tools now. Having said that, I just ordered a Kinesis Tripster ATR, the first bike in a long time that's got me a bit moist.

Not keen on that brake position, I like to keep my pads clean, having to turn the bike upside down to remove them is probably enough to stop me bothering.

Fixed and single speeds are stupid for where I ride.

It's still a stupid idea. Fixies/singlespeeds are a fashion lead idea, they have their place, but not in the hills of N.Wales.

Stop trying to convince me, what is it with you fixie types! You're all evangelists! ;)

Cheers for that
What's your inseam measurement ? I'm thinking I'm between 55cm and 57cm. the issue for me is my back so I need the bars to be same height as saddle. There is only a few mm difference in reach between the 2 sizes. I'm swaying toward the 57cm as it has a 20mm taller headtube but am concerned that it may look a bit big for me with not a lot of seat post showing ..
