Am new to the site, and new to cycling, learning as I go,
so far I have learned I need to learn a lot more, and the
quicker the better, or I will be robbed in the cycle shops
doing things I could do if I knew what to ask for and a little
on how it all goes together.
It has been 35 years since I last worked on a bicycle,
and while some things seem the same, so much has changed,
the sheer volume of bikes available, makes it difficult for me
to know what parts are standard, what are maker specific
and what are one offs, buying old bikes can be a lot of trouble
for the likes of me, and that's why am here, I need to stock up
on knowledge, and I hope I do not cause too much despair
when I ask what must surely seem like a simple question to
a lot of people.
Here is my first conundrum,

Kind regards to all.
