Quite possibly - it's the Lancashire Evening Post, part of the Mail group. I think they are actually the biggest newspaper group in the country as they own alot of local papers.

I dont know what the hells wrong with this socoiety now but believe me..you've people out there who are breath away from violence.

Ah but you won't always get the upper hand - had some guy knock some shite out of three of my mates - not expected it, walking through the village..FFS three fellas - none of them up for anything - but caught out - had they responded then it might have been different !

I've been in a big group of respectable lads - had beers, sat eating chips, but because we looked "funny" at some lad, then he'd come and challenge us - 6 lads vs one, but because we were decent folk, it was let go - the idiot walked off...

You never know what the other person is on - drugs/booze - you have no chance !

I do actually worry about stuff like that round here...that is an extreme case, but there have been quite a few reports of people being attacked and their bikes stolen from them in Preston over the past couple of years (although none were as vicious as that one). Penwortham Bridge seems to be one of the dodgy hotspots
