Sounds like tomorrow's breakfast may be sorted. Yumtus. But not the pud, everyone knows that only Hollands can make those.

@vernon might have summat to say on that , although he is a pie specialist not a pudding afficionado.

its not much of a faff ( if any) to do a proper good babbysyed

you could also do a sausage and kidney turbigo https://www.cookipedia.co.uk/recipes_wiki/Kidneys_turbigo used to love this as a kid with nice tasty cumberland sausage

Turbigo? I thought it was Mr Stevens who had cornered the market in obscure foody words

Anyway, it's decided. As I'm a lazy fecker I'm going to try frying with some mushrooms and a bit of bacon. Bang it on toast, lunch done. I've got 3 kidneys though which sounds like a lot so maybe I can have a stab at your recipe this weekend too. I like the idea of "supplementing" it with sausage too, perfect winter warmer

Bit of a brunchy lunch.....fried kidneys, bacon, mushrooms. Bit of Dijon mustard. Hadn't got any cream, all I could find was mayonnaise so that had to do. Seasoned, done
