On my usual sortie around the charity shops of Sheffield I saw a charity worker loading scrap metal into a van ready to take to the tip. Amongst the 'scrap' was a hybrid bike with an ally frame and hub gears. I shouted that he surely wasn't scrapping it and he replied "help yourself mate, it needs too much work so we cant safely sell it". Well obviously I managed to 'more or less' fit it into the Fiat 500
It's at home now and its got a few knocks where the rider has grounded it - a scratch on one of the cranks and a busted brake lever adjuster but otherwise everything works! I'll do the right thing and go back and give them a sensible donation (it's good karma and usually pays dividends in return good karma for me). Does anyone here have any experience with this (well known and famous in Denmark), brand. The frame is labelled 470 which I assume means 470 mm which theoretically makes it a bit small for my 6 foot 1 inch 32" inside leg body, but it didn't feel uncomfortable on a short test ride. I'll post a few pics when my wife goes out as its currently in the garage waiting for her to come across it so I can swear I've had it ages - like she does with new shoes handbags etc.

Nice work and a good save. As long as the Nexus changes okay and doesn't slip you should be fine. Never heard of this make before but it's got some the nastiest frame welds I've seen for a long time.
These roadster types have frames which are similar to MTB sizing so could be suitable for you.

Checked it over cleaned the muck off and a quick test ride - all good gears brakes bearings and tyres. Ps it’s Kildemoes with an e sorry about the typo in the original header - now corrected.
Ps and when new they’re not cheap!

While trying to date the Logic I came upon a very interesting wikipedia article regarding Danish bikes. All Danish bikes by law have a VIN stamp which includes a makers letter code, a letter stamp which denotes whether the frame was imported, a serial number and a date letter. So my bike was built by Kildemoes in 2008 on an imported frame (they have a Swedish frame factory). Lastly there’s a Police database which records stolen bikes and there’s an App available to check if the bike you’re about to buy is stolen - How very sensible!
