Try Justin Burls perhaps?

Good shout or go direct to Russia where the frames come from at Triton:-

You could get some custom forks made in steel, I did the same thing for the same reasons, I got a carbon phobia. I know it's not rational but I can't seem to shake it. My last set of forks were made by Walt here:-

I know 18 Bikes in Hope, Derbyshire will also run up a set to your specs.

Thanks - how much does a spec steel fork cost?
I'm not sure we are irrational - hitting a bump doing 60km/h on a bike you have doubts about is no fun.

Can you be more specific?
I have doubts about the durability of carbon parts in general and carbon forks in particular. I know you can quote stats that sound impressive but I took a tumble on my carbon frame bike - it may well be damaged but shows no sign of it. I do not want the first sign to be when I'm flying down a hill nor when I'm moving among traffic. That bike cost quite a bit - I want a bike I can take a tumble on and know the bike is still sound.

My reaction to the clip was pretty much the same as the clip.
