I lost the top of my right index finger (down to the base of the nail.

The nurse at the hospital said I was lucky it wasn't the whole finger.

I replied, saying yes, it was the one next to it!

It bloody hurt, and I still have phantom feelings (and they do exist, because I can feel and experience them, no matter what anyone says! ).

Hope you aren't too handicapped by it, stoatsngroats.

I agree!!! A bloke at work put his middle finger through a bandsaw blade a couple of years ago. Was I sick..... And I mean through the nail DOWN towards the hand.

Hope it heals soon, but it's going to be bloody sore, bless ya! Lots of TLC and getting OH/mates to screw off or flick off your beers

I cut myself shaving in the shower tonight (nudge BK). I certainly don't think anyone would want photos of it.
