Kitchen sink blank: should I glue it?

My kitchen sink & draining board unit has a blank to cover the unused tap-hole. The blank has come loose and I can't gain access to tighten it.

Is there any reason why I shouldn't glue it in place?
If not, would Araldite be a suitable glue?

Many thanks for any helpful replies.

Use white Sikaflex, of whatever the required colour may be.

Stainless steel sink and blank.

Bathroom sealant, be fine

I'd take the sink out, remove the blank, find a suitable washer and rebuild it.

BUT I'm OCD and find the longest way round things..

Glue it if you like. But why can't you source a new blank. Many companies would send a replacement out to you free of charge.

What kitchen sink do you have and where did you get it from?
